BPA CRM and SAP ERP in a team (Marquardt)

As an expert in innovative mechatronics, the Marquardt Group connects man and machine. And integrates BPA CRM with SAP ERP.

BPA CRM and SAP ERP are an exciting team for mapping end-to-end CRM, ERP and collaboration processes. While BPA uses SharePoint technology to focus on collaboration and lean, user-friendly processes, SAP ERP shines with stability and scalability.

As a consulting and integration service provider, we at efexcon have been supporting modern digitalization projects at the Marquardt Group for many years.

In this case, we initially supported the business analysis, the analysis of the existing digital interfaces and data flows as well as the adaptation of the existing process organization to digital processes.

We were also asked to develop a technical concept for integrating the data structures of BPA CRM and SAP ERP and compared the ERP Connect software from Theobald Software with the existing SAP integration modules.

During implementation, our task was to implement the specialist processes in BPA CRM, adapt the specialist and technical data models and implement the interface integration between BPA CRM and SAP ERP.

Marquardt relies on BPA CRM and SAP ERP

As an expert in interactive mechatronics, Marquardt forms the convenient interface between man and machine in countless areas of life. Whether you are opening your car or setting it in motion, starting your power tool or controlling your heating - you are in contact with Marquardt every day. And Marquardt has already developed many innovations today that may only come onto the world market in a few years' time, making the future tangible.

In order to be able to provide these services, Marquardt also relies internally on seamless interfaces and close integration of systems that not everyone immediately recognizes as a pair.

Marquardt combines BPA CRM and SAP ERP with the help of Theobald Software's integration solution to ensure consistent service processes across platform boundaries and to improve its own performance for customers through specialized support for value-added processes.

Further reasons for BAP CRM and SAP in a team

The integration of SharePoint-based BPA CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and SAP ERP can offer many benefits for organizations, especially those that work with large amounts of data or have a high number of customers. Here are some reasons why companies are integrating these systems:

  1. Centralization of data: By integrating SharePoint, BPA CRM and SAP, companies can store and access all customer data in one centralized location. This can improve efficiency and accuracy as employees don't have to switch between different systems to find information.
  2. Automation of business processes: The integration of these systems can also enable the automation of business processes, such as the automatic updating of customer data or the automatic creation of quotations or invoices.
  3. Improved collaboration: The integration of SharePoint, BPA CRM and SAP can also improve collaboration between different departments and teams, as everyone can access the same data and communicate with each other.
  4. Better customer management: By integrating these systems, companies can also achieve better customer management, for example by automatically updating and managing customer data, responding to customer inquiries more quickly and tracking customer information more effectively.
  5. Real-time reporting and analysis: The integration of these systems can also enable real-time reporting and analysis by automatically combining data from different sources. This can help companies react quickly to changes in the business environment and make informed decisions.
  6. Avoid duplication of data entry: The integration of SharePoint, CRM and SAP can also help to avoid double entry of data and improve data integrity by not having to store the same data in different systems.
  7. Increasing efficiency: By integrating these systems, companies can also increase their efficiency by automating manual work processes and reducing the time and cost of manual data entry.
